Experienced Operator - Septic Division

Valley Tank And Container is located in Chilliwack BC. We are a locally owned and operated company seeking an experienced operator for our Septic Division.

This position is full-time, may require overtime, and emergency call-outs.

Requirements

1-year minimum experience as a Septic Operator is a must
Class 3 Air Ticket required
Clean Drivers Abstract
Duties would include:
1. Pre and Post inspections of truck
2. Road knowledge of the Fraser Valley
3. Strong communication skills, customer relations
4. Good verbal and written skills
5. Physically fit, able to perform demanding job
6. Locating and accessing septic tank and field
7. Shoveling required to access tank lid
8. Pumping out tank
9. Field inspections may be required
10. Dispose of septic waste at designated sites

Roll Off Operator - Roll Off Division

Valley Tank And Container is located in Chilliwack BC. We are a locally owned and operated company seeking a full-time employee for our Roll Off Division.

This position will be full-time, overtimemay be required.

Requirements

1-year minimum experience of Roll Off work
Class 3 Air Ticket a minimum, Class 1 preferred
Clean Drivers Abstract

Duties Include:

Pre and Post trip inspections of truck
Daily delivering and removing bins from customer job locations, completing paperwork for each job
Strong knowledge of roads within the Fraser Valley
Have a winning attitude with our customers
Be able to be flexible
Good communications skills with other members of our team
Physically fit, be able to work safely/effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment

Dispatcher - Waste Management

Job description

Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received.
Handles and screens incoming calls.
Handles inquiries from customers with respect to pricing, quotes and setting up of accounts. Inside sales
Help drivers resolve issues on site.

Qualification

Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
Must have computer skills with ability to handle multiple programs and systems.
Knowledge of Trux Waste Management software application is an asset.

Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via e-mail, telephone and 2 way devices.

Billing Assistant - Waste Management

Job description
1. Assist in billing and invoice preparation
2. Process credit card payments.
3. Various administrative tasks

Qualification
1. Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
2. Highly organized
3. Aptitude for numbers
4. Accuracy and attention to details
